Last year, we created Baytna event. It was an amazing starting point for our community to connect and get to know each other.
This year, we want to take it a bit further. We invite all arabic speaking people in Barcelona to join us

17:45 - 18:30 - Food and Networking Mescladis We want people to feel at home, to feel supported and that they are a part of a supportive community where they can be the best versions of themselves.
The Event
We announced the event on all social media platforms. We also were lucky to have some support from UNHCR Spain in the dissemination, as well as other members of Kudwa Community. The event was aimed at Arabic Speaking people living in Barcelona and surrounding areas. Particularly new members who do not know Kudwa already.
30 People attended and we believe that the event had reached the right type of people

was one of the comments received. Satisfaction was high and all the attendees
Another comment was
"The activity had a great positive dimension and helped to achieve social relations between the participants and to get to know the residents of the Arab communities in the city. Thank you for your efforts and we hope that there will be other activities/events in the future."
One of the highlights was when one of our participants in MiGROW project shared her experience and how she found herself in a great community where she is seen and supported.
We are hoping to offer more opportunities like this in the near future to all our community members.
Evaluation
According to all the comments we received, and the conversations we had at the event, everyone was satisfied with the event. The agenda was not too restricting and people had enough time to network and get to know each other. We learned that the community needs regular events such as this one. Dedicated just to creating and growing the community. It was beneficial for our team to renew our faith in what we are doing and the need for it.
